Our founding President, Kira Craig, was into technology from the age of 18 months, then expanded when she discovered Moshi Monsters and her addiction to all things geek began!  Her interest in engineering began from talking age when she studied and questioned how merry go rounds worked.  This expanded to querying how the universe and life began.  Her extensive world travels resulted in a broad exposure to a mixture of cultures and technologies and the explosion of her naturally inquisitive mind.

By 11 years of age, she had established a youtube channel that specially demonstrated to children hints and tips on Minecraft.  Check it out here.

She started an interest in crafting text adventures at the age of 12 – here is link to her first text adventure.

She has always been an early adopter of new technologies.

A lover of science fiction, magic and science in general led to her founding ARIK Enterprises at the age of 12 years old.  Operationally wise Kira heads up the Technology Division.

Her lifelong goal, given to her by her parents, and enthusiastically adopted by Kira, is to develop instantaneous transportation. As her father says whenever he reads Facebook, “Must. Get. Stargate.”

Kira’s mother, Sonja Bernhardt OAM had a long and distinguished career in technology being awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her services to the IT industry, as well as being inducted into the Women in Technology Hall of Fame in Silicon Valley.
